The 99% doesn't get a seat at the table, so we are building our own.

Most business podcasts interview the 1%—the outliers and the headlines. We’re interested in the Engine Room.

I’m excited to announce the launch of The 99% Podcast | The DNA of Sustainable Performance, recorded live at St. Martin’s Lane, York, this April.re it matters.

Series 1 is hosted by Mac Schimm, Stephanie Hughf and Andy Sneyd, creating an inclusive platform for business owners, leaders, staff and students who contribute and keep industry moving.

The 99% podcast gives a voice to the engine room of industry — the SMEs, the builders, the engineers, the operators who actually get things done. These are the businesses that carry the weight of delivery, often without the platform, recognition, or time to step back and be heard. This series brings their reality to the surface — the pressure, the craft, the decisions, and the ambition behind the work. Not theory. Not headlines. Just the people doing the work, sharing what it really takes to build, grow, and keep moving forward.

The methodology

No "corporate vanilla" scripts. We’re using a "Three-Slice" panel format—3 random questions, 2 panels, and a raw debate to find the "99% Solution" to your biggest dilemmas and opportunities.

The audience
